Packing and Unpackingin North Atlanta, GA
Packing and unpacking is the part of a move most people underestimate, and it is often the reason move day runs long. Call or text (404) 721-5312 with the rooms you want packed or unpacked, and we will send a clear quote.
Open daily 8 AM–8 PM

What's included
We can pack the whole home, just the hard rooms, or only unpack at the new place. The goal is boxes that stack well, protect what is inside, and tell you exactly where they go.
Kitchen packing
Dishes, glasses and pantry goods are wrapped and boxed by type, with heavy items in small boxes so they stay liftable.
Fragile wrapping
Mirrors, lamps, framed art and décor get extra paper and padding, with boxes marked fragile and top side up.
Closet and wardrobe packing
Hanging clothes, shoes and linens are packed so they are easy to unpack into the new closet.
Clear labeling
Every box is labeled with the room and a short contents note, so unpacking is quick and nothing is a mystery.
Partial packing
Already packed most of it? We can finish the rooms that are left, often the kitchen and garage.
Unpacking and setup
At the new home we unpack boxes into cabinets and shelves where you want things to live.
Debris cleanup
Paper and empty boxes are gathered and broken down so you are not wading through cardboard.
How it works
Step 1: List the rooms
Share which rooms you want packed, unpacked, or both, and note anything fragile, valuable or sentimental.
Step 2: Get your free quote
We send a clear quote and confirm whether supplies are part of the job or whether you already have boxes.
Step 3: Crew arrives in the window
The crew arrives in the agreed window, usually a day or two before the move for packing, and works room by room.
Step 4: Walkthrough
We walk the packed or unpacked rooms with you so you know where everything is and can request any changes.
Who it's for
Busy professionals
Work does not stop because you are moving. You need the house packed while you are at the office or traveling.
Families with lots of stuff
Kitchen, toys, holiday décor and a full garage. Packing alone would take weeks of evenings.
Anyone with fragile pieces
China, glass, artwork or heirlooms you would rather have wrapped by people who pack regularly.

Plan it right
The right boxes make packing faster and safer. Mixed grocery boxes are harder to stack and easier to crush.
- Use small boxes for books and dishes; large boxes for pillows, bedding and lampshades.
- Use packing paper rather than newspaper so ink does not transfer to dishes.
- Get wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes so they go straight from closet to closet.
- Ask us whether supplies are included in your quote before buying your own.
Some things are best packed by you, either because they are private or because you will need them immediately.
- Pack documents, jewelry and keepsakes yourself and carry them in your car.
- Keep a first-night box: sheets, towels, toiletries, chargers, snacks and basic tools.
- Set aside medication and anything you use daily.
- Handle personal items like a private drawer or office files on your own.
Unpacking goes fastest when you decide where things live before the boxes are open.
- Decide cabinet layout in the kitchen first so dishes go straight into place.
- Unpack the bedroom and bathroom first so the first night is comfortable.
- Let us flatten and gather empty boxes as we go to keep rooms clear.
- Leave decorative pieces for last when you have more time to place them.

Questions, answered
How is packing priced?
The quote depends on how many rooms and how full they are, the distance if it is part of a move, access at the home, and add-ons like supplies or unpacking. We provide a clear quote once we know the scope.
Can you pack just the kitchen?
Yes. The kitchen is the most requested room since it takes the longest and has the most fragile items.
Do I need to be home while you pack?
It helps to be there at the start to show what goes and what stays. After that, many customers leave a trusted person or check in by phone.
Will you pack things I do not want moved?
Point them out or set them aside before we start. Anything marked as staying or going to junk removal will be left out.
Can you unpack only?
Yes. If you moved yourself or used another option, we can come in afterward to unpack and break down boxes.
