Moving in Alpharetta
Alpharetta sits in north Fulton County, and if your move involves a larger home, it may include two stories, a finished basement, a bonus room over the garage, and furniture that was bought to stay put. That changes the job. A sectional that came in before the stair rail was installed, a dining table with a leaf that has not been removed in years, a treadmill in a basement with a turning landing: these are the pieces that decide how long a day runs. When you text us photos of the tricky rooms first, we can show up with the right blankets, straps, dollies and a realistic crew size instead of guessing. Premium care on a big Alpharetta house also means thinking about the order of the day. We usually wrap and stage the delicate pieces before the heavy lifting begins, so a crystal lamp is never sitting in a hallway while a dresser comes down the stairs beside it. Rooms that are finished get packed and closed off, and the crew lead keeps track of what has been loaded room by room.
If your Alpharetta neighborhood is governed by an HOA, it may have gated entries or rules about when a moving truck can park on the street, how long it can stay and whether it can block a sidewalk. Check your HOA documents or ask your management company before move day, and give us the gate instructions in writing so the driver is not stuck at the call box. If your driveway is long, steep or shared, mention it. We would rather plan a shorter carry or a second staging spot than discover the problem with a full truck idling at the curb.
Then there is GA 400. A move to or from Alpharetta may involve it in one direction or the other, and anyone who drives it knows traffic can stack up without much warning. We build that into the arrival window we agree on with you rather than promising a minute we cannot control. For moves that stay in north Fulton, the drive is a small part of the day; for moves heading toward the Perimeter or another destination within Georgia, we will talk through timing honestly. Our crews come to you in Alpharetta, and we treat a big house like a lot of small, careful decisions rather than one rushed load. A few habits make larger Alpharetta moves calmer. Walk the new house before moving day with a floor plan or even a phone sketch, and decide where each big piece lands so nothing gets set down twice. Photograph the back of the TV, the media cabinet and any wired electronics before they are unplugged. Empty dresser drawers that are heavy or fragile, and keep jewelry, documents and medications with you rather than on the truck. If you have rugs that need to go down before furniture, tell us and we will lay them first.

How it works
Step 1: Share the rooms
Send a quick list or photos of the big rooms, the basement and anything heavy or fragile. Tell us about stairs, gate codes and HOA truck rules at both homes. Mention any piece you would be heartbroken to see scratched.
Step 2: Get a clear quote
We reply with a written quote based on home size, distance, access and any packing or assembly add-ons, so nothing about the scope is a surprise. If something in it is unclear, ask Josh and we will explain it.
Step 3: Arrive in our window
We agree on an arrival window that allows for GA 400 traffic. The crew walks the house with you, pads what needs padding, and starts with the largest pieces. Large pieces get blanket-wrapped inside the house, never in the driveway.
Step 4: Final walkthrough
Before we leave the new place, we walk every room with you, set furniture where you want it and confirm nothing was left behind in the old garage or attic. Any reassembled furniture gets a final check for level and stability.

How do you quote a large Alpharetta home?
The quote depends on the size of the home, the distance to the new address, access at both ends such as stairs, long driveways or gated entries, and add-ons like packing or furniture assembly. Text photos or a room list to (404) 721-5312 and we will send a clear quote in writing. We do not post prices online because two Alpharetta houses of the same size can be very different jobs. If you are still deciding between packing yourself and having us pack, ask for both options in the same quote so you can compare the scope side by side.
My HOA has truck rules. Will that be a problem?
Usually not, as long as we know about it. Send us the parking and timing rules from your HOA or management company and any gate instructions. We plan truck placement and arrival around them, and if a rule makes a longer carry necessary, we tell you before move day. If the rules at your new address are different from the old one, send both. Rules can differ between the two addresses.
Can you handle premium furniture and finished floors?
If that applies to your Alpharetta move, we plan for it. We blanket-wrap furniture, use floor runners and door jamb protection, and disassemble pieces that will not turn safely on a staircase. Let us know about anything unusually heavy, antique or sentimental so we can plan for it. We also keep large mirrors, glass tabletops and framed art upright and padded on the truck rather than stacked flat, because stacking glass flat invites cracks.
Do you have an Alpharetta office?
No. We are based in Atlanta, GA and our crews come to you in Alpharetta. Everything starts with a call or text. We are open daily from 8 AM to 8 PM. If you want to talk through a large move before booking, a short phone call is welcome, and photos you share with us keep everyone on the same page.
